Bird Hide Facts
|
Its Bird Hide, not BirdHide! Bird Hide is a real place, we didn't mess with any signs or anything. The field of long grass that we filmed in was gone a few weeks later when I went back there. What happens at the end? You tell me... We actually filmed at least three seperate endings. Maybe we can put the others together as 'alternate ending' extras someday. This time around, cameraman Mike agreed to a cameo role, as long as he didn't have to wear anyone else's clothes. Many of the hats were borrowed from Nick Williams, many thanks to him. Simon didn't shave specifically for his role in Bird Hide. Guns from the Westerns weren't at all accurate and so missed all the time, or so we have heard. Jamie and Simon are actually excellent shots, managing to shoot each other in the back in Co-Operative Halo and Halo 2 on a regular basis. As with Blue Bridge, we filmed Bird Hide in a single day. It began to rain shortly after we finished filming, after threatening to all day. Not a great advert for British weather, as it was filmed in mid Summer. If you look carefully, we think you can see the Sun in at least one shot of the film (unconfirmed). |
