| Maintenance Runner is a kind of spin-off series from Team Corellia, its story runs in parallel and at around the same time. The events that take place involving the characters of Maintenance Runner are related to the events depicted in Team Corellia; though the connections may not become clear until later on in the series. | Initially, the story of depressed loner Daniel Galfano, stuck in the maintenance department of Ordrellian Industries seems a million miles away from the dangerous mission of Team Corellia. Daniel's only companion is astromech droid R7-K2, a philosophical character, for a droid anyway. However, events are about to take a turn for the worse... | . |

| Daniel Galfano: Sad, lonely, and possibly losing it just a little. Who can blame him? His job entails sitting around till something in the huge Ordrellian Industries complex breaks. His only companion is a droid, and everyone hates him. Born on Talus, another planet in the Corellian system, Daniel moved to Corellia to look for work. His skills as a mechanic are rarely employed well in his current work; the main callout being to fix vending machines. |
R7-K2: The strange thing about astromech droids is just how many strange complexes they seem to develop. R7 is worried about people thinking he looks like a garbage disposal unit, a harsh comparison. His technical skills are excellent, he proves a skillful aide to Daniel in his more difficult tasks. He is also able to keep up in a philosophical debate, which is perhaps a little worrying.
|
Kandra: A very pleasant, amiable man, with an easy charm making him just a little suspicious.
