Q: What exactly is Team Corellia?

A: It's a series of animated shorts, created using the Jedi Academy engine. I think that makes it Machinima, of a kind.

Q: So you record footage of players acting ingame, edit it together and add voices?

A: That's where you're wrong Jimmy. What we do is a little different. We script the entire thing using ICARUS, making it a series of cutscenes like you'd get in a game. You can download a version which runs just in Jedi Academy, this is the version we record to make the QuickTime and any other versions.

Q: My name is Bobby. So how do you get the environments?

A: They are mapped by myself and more talented mappers, people like Lassev.

Q: Can I get any of these environments to play Jedi Academy in?

A: Some of the maps used in Team Corellia are planned for release as standard maps (check Media). Also, you can dig through the pk3 and find the bsp files, put them in the maps folder in JA and load it via the console. Be warned that the maps used for Team Corellia may not be very good to play in without conversion for Multi Player release, they're only really meant for cutscenes.

Q: What gave you the idea to do this in the first place?

A: Well Jimmy, I was largely inspired to try to make a comedy like this by the amazing Red vs Blue. I had always enjoyed making cutscenes for Jedi Outcast Single Player levels, so this seemed a good idea at the time...

Q: How can I offer suggestions/feedback for Team Corellia?

A: I'm glad you asked. You can email me or visit the forums.
